  1. Thanks for the video Alan! As someone very new to guitar, I was wondering
if there is any specific name of the second down strum you do, when you cut
the sound. Seems like I can’t make the exact sound, so I’d like to check
other sources to how to do it exactly. Thanks! :)

  2. Thank you, first eclipse, then night white satin and now losing my
religion… i’m amateur but i can play easily thanks to you :))

  3. Very big great from Slovakia ( we are middle Eurupe “heard Europe ” )
anyway very good teacher , and you very help me ( sory , my english is very
    bad :) ) thanks !

  4. You are amazing!! Thanks a lots to share this beutiful song to us! I am
Brazilian and your videos are watching here!! Congratulations!

  5. I love how you take a big, complex song and shrink it down to something
anybody can play with just their guitar and still sound great. A ton of the
songs I know I learned from you. Keep it up!

  6. Checkout my newest tutorial for the song I See Fire by +Ed Sheeran from
the soundtrack of the movie The Hobbit – The Desolation of Smaug

My first Ed Sheeran tutorial, well overdue. Please Share +1, Favorite etc.

    Have a great weekend x

  7. i can’t do the first part! im stuck there and it has been a few days..

  8. Anyone else who got annoyed by the way it looks like he’s talking Ed down?
He’s like “Ugh this song is so easy and ed is not even talented and he
wrote this song for a film and then lots of teenage girls requested it” and
it really annoys me. It might not be czardas, but at least it’s a popular
    song featuring an acoustic guitar.

  9. do I need metal strings to do the intro part? my nylon strings can’t keep
the sound when I hammer a note because of the capo and all the tension
happening :l songs like this and “safe and sound” by taylor swift ft civil
wars give me this kind of trouble. It only happens to me when I use capo
from 5th fret and so on. With 4th fret capo I have no trouble but 5th and
so on give me trouble. Any tips? :l

  10. Great guitar lesson. I really appreciate it. For future lessons I would
like it if the whole song would be presented in the intro before breaking
it down (eg. intro, cover of the full song, song tutorial, outro). Thanks!

  11. Hey, I’ve got a problem because my guitar doesn’t sound the same. I don’t
know why. My capo is in the right place, and my guitar is right tunned and
I’m strumming right strums. Help !

  12. I love this song so much!! Ed Sheeran is a phenomenal musician/artist.
Unlike all the other artists who use autotune and fake music, he can make
awesome music with just a guitar. B-e-a-utiful.

  13. hej gareth, just wanted to thank you. Was an E-guitarist for years but now
got into Fingerpicking cause of your videos. I Love it – and guess what: My
    neighbors too xD

  14. I really wish he would have played the whole song at the end so I could
have learned how to properly transition to each part I get that there are
notes but I can’t read them it sucks that I know how to play the whole song
    but can’t properly transition

  15. Nice channel mate ! , I live in new zealand and just getting back into
guitar ! living on your channel at the moment ! haha
