Do Re Mi Sol La Do /// remarque: la gamme pentatonique majeure retire la
Quarte Fa et la Septième La de la Gamme Majeure (do re mi FA sol la SI do)

Do Mib Fa Sol Sib Do /// remarque: la gamme pentatonique mineure retire la
Seconde Re et la Xiste bémolisée La de la Gamme Mineure (Do Re Mib Fa Sol
    Lab Sib Do)
de LA / La Do Re Sol La

  7. It’s so encouraging to see the bass guitar evolving into more of a
solo-friendly instrument. Back in the “stone age” the classicists were
writing pieces for the bass viol, and they received no outcries of
‘self-indulgence’ or the like. I’m buying a new EADGC five-string just so
I can better explore Bach, Beethoven and the like. In a few centuries
Satriani, Hamm, Van HALEN, Claypool and Sumner (i.e., Sting) will be named
among the classicists. But Stu did all this on a 4-string bass!

  8. oh dear ! how boring ! how sad ! , checkout out jack bruce / john entwistle
, for style / class and feel ! THE EGO HAS FLOWEN !

  9. omg look at me i know so much about bass instruments, this one wasnt that
good ive seen better, omg im so good at the base, everyone read my comment
and see how smart I am. Get over yourselves, it was clear as fuck and
sounds badass as shit, this is totally comparible to a good solo on a
guitar, people just hatin when bass players get the limelight i guess.

  10. i dont know anything about guitar playing but in the first part of the
performance was he plucking on the strings or was he just pressing his
finger on the guitar? to me it seems he was just pressing his fingers on
the guitar, even from 0:25 onwards when that double tune starts, it seems
he was just pressing the guitar with his left and right hand while
occasionally plucking the strings with his right hand?

  11. fuck this.. everytime someone wants to show how “cool” an instrument is
they play classical music on it. Now yeah, classical music is cool no
worries there but you don’t need to play it to show off. FOr fucks sake
improvise something.. all you do by playing classical music is make the
wankers in the cheap seats think they’re educated for clapping afterwards..
    pisses me off..

  12. Excellent creation on Hamm’s part. Not that it really matters- but if youre
going to disregard the bass as a solo instrument, you may as well forget
about guitar itself as a lead… guitar was originally just an
accompaniment instrument in jazz. Just throwing that out there guys

  13. On the technical side, from a guitar player, really not that impressive.
But pretty good for a bass player I guess.

  14. how rude of you i really hate it when people have to make stupid comments
the best this the best that just shut the fuck up and enjoy and quit making
music a competition to each there own there is a best for everyone.
